Steve, looking VERY approachable. |
I learned a lot at a recent Pantene event about men's attitudes toward hair from Vh1's Tough Love match maker Steve Ward. My educational journey started with his pointing out that gray hair is just not okay for single gals in their 20s and 30s. In fact, Steve maintains that "it's only okay to be gray when you have grandkids." I've long agreed that women below the age of 40 should NOT rock a gralo. If, in the paraphrased words of a famous philosopher who goes by the name Beyonce, "I can see your gralo (gralo, gralo), " you're just not making the most of your hair. According to Pantene's research, 74% of men indicated that they notice women because of their hair--boobs and butts be damned. It seems EVERY man's a hair man.

Um? I don't even know what to say to THAT. But in other news, I guess I now have an answer for people who ask why I'm single. Tough love indeed, Steve.

Totally agree. Grey is just not hot unless you do have grandkids and can rock it long.
ReplyDeleteI've been faithfully seeing my colorist every six weeks since I was 22. Although my father is bald, so I guess I'm lucky I only got the greys...
Back to Steve. Yes, he's yummy. And totally right. I do not know one dude who is not a hair guy. Which I guess is somewhat comforting, right?
Did he tell all the women in the room about themselves? Geez, haha. Sounds like Steve Ward can dish it but not take it!
ReplyDeleteWhy is it always men who seem to think that it's ok to just give their opinion of you unsolicited?
ReplyDeleteWhat a prick!
