Giveaway: Win A Shabby Apple Dress!

Thursday, January 26, 2012

In eager anticipation of the March premiere of Mad Men, I've reignited my love of a retro frock a la Joan Holloway's demure, knee-skimming, hip-hugging numbers. Specifically, I've been rocking the El Capitan dress by Shabby Apple. The demure-with-a-look-of-yore fashion brand boasts unique frocks at freaking phenom prices. The El Capitan dress at right will set you back a mere $86. But you may not even have to pay THAT much because I'm giving away one dress to one lucky BBJ reader THIS WEEK. Here's how to enter:

1. "Like” Shabby Apple on Facebook: You'll even get special promotions and discounts just for being a fan.

2. Leave a comment on this post using the Fictionary word of your choice in a sentence. You'll find all Fictionary words here.

The deadline is Monday, January 30 at 5pm EST. The winner will be contacted then. Good luck!

Dress sent for review by Shabby Apple.

I'm in deep like with this dress! I already have my look worked out.All that's needed is some glam chop lashes,a serious red lip and some black platform pumps.

I like Shabby Apple on fb and I really wish I was a blonde so I could do my Stivic Duty. Alas, I'm raven-haired.

The only reason I watch Destination Truth on the ScyFy channel is because I can't turn away from the Kryptonheight of the show's host, Josh Gates. Scruff plus Kryptonheight? A winning combination!

(And, of course, I'm a fan of Shabby Apple on Facebook!)

There's but one scent to wear with this stunning dress.

You might not KNOW, but I think you can guess.

That's right: the perfect fragrance is EauMG.

And the winner of the free dress? Why, it's ME!!!

Oops, maybe the blonde hair color wasn't the right move for a pecan tan vixen like myself. But, I am a Cali gal with no regrets and a pair of red pumps.

If I had to move up north, my wardrobe would need a "wintervention", this time of year. I love wearing sundresses in January.
