Friends, I recently shot a makeup how-to video for L'Occitane using their gorgeous, luxe and incredibly useful new Pivoine Flora Collection of makeup. It launches today and is available on L'Occitane's website. Inspired by ballet, the makeup collection incorporates peony extract, is made with recycled materials and the packaging was created with pressed peonies incorporated into the various ballerinas' tutu shapes by L'Occitane founder Olivier Baussan's sister. So fun, right? The color pay-off is out of this world, the colors work for all skin tones and coloring schemes and the textures and flavors are divine. I've nearly used up my Pivoine Flora Lipstick in Cerise, which is quite Clinique Black Honey-esque in that it looks very dark and incredibly ridiculous for someone as fair as I, but on, it's sublimely sheer and flattering. Id have to say my favorite part of summer is bronze liner. I use a liquid to make a gorgeous metallic bronze cateye. Much more fun than black!
