I often say that I live my lifestyle in 20-minute increments. So on my Get in Shape Girl tour of 2011, one of my newfound saviors for my busy busy sched is the integration of Nutrisystem into my nutrish regimen. To find out more and how to enter to win a month of free Nutrisystem food, read on...
It's beyond easy to stick to--you receive frozen, refrigerated and pantry items to munch on and I have yet to try something that isn't utterly delish. I do have an issue from time to time with the portion sizes (I definitely eat like a truck driver) so I supplement with side salads more often than not. But after a couple weeks, I have many favorites including the ravioli, chicken caesar salad, grilled chicken sandwich, turkey hotdog and carrot cake. There are also easy-to-pack breakfast omelettes and meal bars. It could not be more simple to get your diet started than with this plan. By offering pre-portioned, calorie-controlled, shelf-stable meals, you always have a variety of diet-friendly foods available to you . There are hundreds of meal choices, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. NutriSystem recommends a rate of weight loss of about one to two pounds each week. With a number of different programs, there's a NutriSystem approach that fits just about any lifestyle.

I'd love to win a chance to try this...my dad and stepmom had lots of success with NutriSystem.
ReplyDeleteMy nutrition tip is tried and true: no matter what, NEVER skip breakfast. It really is the most important meal of the day!
My best nutrition tip would be to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Not only will your skin thank you, but it also diminishes your intake of food if you drink a glass before your meals.
ReplyDeleteIf you are going out to dinner, make small changes. Instead of getting your usual burger and fries, get a burger and a side of broccoli. Or hold the mayo on the burger, and get mustard instead.
ReplyDeleteEvery little bit helps!

Think of the richer dishes as a side dish to a main dish of veggies...it's all about portion control!
ReplyDeleteI try to eat lots of fruits and veggies

Mine is to wake up earlier in the morning to pack snacks and lunch for the day. It's much easier to not be tempted by the office donuts if you brought hummus from home. Cheaper too!
ReplyDeleteMy best nutrition tip is to not eat after 7:00 p.m. - cuts out most snacking (which is my downfall).

For me, planning is key. Plan your meals for the week and shop with (and stick to) a list to avoid buying and eating junk food.
